Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in a busy housekeeping environment.
- A committed and organised approach.
- A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training.
- Encourage and support staff in their development and training.
- Ensure a full understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who require care and support.
- Guarantee that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control.
- Adhere to safeguarding and whistle‑blowing policies at all times.
- Provide evidence of all completed training.
- Comply with fire procedures, health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
- Complete all training as determined by the home.
