We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

What will the role involve?
The role of a Breakfast Chef at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa delivering an exceptional breakfast experience for guests, ensuring every dish reflects quality, consistency, freshness, and attention to detail.
The Breakfast Chef will oversee all aspects of breakfast preparation and service, maintaining outstanding standards of presentation, flavour and organisation, while ensuring a smooth and efficient start to each day.
As Breakfast Chef, your role will focus on preparing and delivering a high-quality breakfast offering, including à la carte and buffet service, in line with the hotel's standards and guest expectations.
You will take ownership of your section, ensuring it is well-prepared, fully stocked, and set up for service, while consistently maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Responsibilities will also include managing breakfast mise en place, monitoring stock levels, supporting cost control, and working closely with suppliers and the wider kitchen team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
You will contribute to menu development by bringing ideas for seasonal dishes and innovative breakfast options, enhancing the overall guest experience and helping uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence in luxury hospitality.
This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.
Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.

Requirements

- You will have previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie within a high-quality hotel or restaurant environment, with a strong understanding of breakfast operations, including both plated and buffet service.
A consistent focus on organisation, time management, and attention to detail is essential, particularly within a fast-paced morning service.
