Are you an experienced Adaptation Surveyor with a background in housing adaptations or Disabled Facilities Grants? Looking for a role where you can genuinely improve people's quality of life? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Adaptation Surveyor to join a busy and supportive team delivering essential adaptation works for vulnerable residents.
Responsibilities
- You will manage adaptation projects from survey through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Managing contractors and monitoring project delivery.
- Carrying out pre and post inspections.
- Preparing Disabled Facilities Grant documentation.
- Identifying property defects and recommending solutions.
- Liaising with residents, Occupational Therapists, and contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with H&S and relevant legislation.
About You
- Experience within adaptations, surveying, or housing projects.
- Knowledge of Disabled Facilities Grants.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- A DBS check will be required for this position.
