Role Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and ambitious Technical Sales professional to help lead the identifying and closing of complex growth opportunities for our Gas & LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) offerings across our customer base.
The Technical Sales team is a key driver for sales execution and performance across existing accounts. You will be instrumental for the achievement of sales growth targets as well as the effective use of resources to achieve targets.
Main Responsibilities:
Product and Sector Expertise
- Master the value of our Gas & LNG solutions and the sector to drive new business and retain customers.
- Act as an internal ambassador, communicating product enhancements and market developments across teams.
Retention And New Business Development
- Collaborate with Regional Sales to deepen relationships, understand customer workflows, and identify new opportunities.
- Lead the customer lifecycle, supporting onboarding, engagement, retention, and cross-selling.
Territory Planning
- Develop and maintain a sales plan, identifying growth markets and risks to strategize effectively.
- Work with stakeholders to execute the plan, including Regional Sales, Product Sales, Customer Focus, Research, and Consulting.
- Partner with Product and Research teams to shape the development roadmap based on customer feedback and competitor intelligence.
- Support new product and service launches.
Sales Process Ownership
- Manage all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring efficiency and thorough documentation.
- Manage the business pipeline for precise forecasting in Salesforce.
About You
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the Gas & LNG industry.
- Have a proven track record in collaborating with different internal teams to achieve commercial success.
- Have significant experience in an Analyst or Account Management role.
- Have an extensive commercial track record in developing clients and establishing a trusted advisor relationship.
- Be a self-motivated and energetic individual, a successful negotiator and results oriented.
- Demonstrate outstanding judgment in resource utilisation and optimisation.
- Have an intellectual curiosity about how data and analysis solve critical business issues.
- Previous experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce would be an advantage.
- This role is Hybrid and expected to be in the London or Edinburgh office 2 days/ 3 days per week
