Wood Mackenzie is a global leader in energy and natural resources analytics. We are looking for a senior marketing leader to drive our next growth phase and optimize the ways Marketing works.
Main Responsibilities
- Marketing ways of working: Build and evolve the Marketing operating model and ways of working to support scale, speed and execution discipline. Establish frameworks for how work gets done, not the delivery of the work itself. Drive clarity on roles, responsibilities, and handoffs across teams.
- Strategy to execution planning: Translate strategic priorities and projects into clear, structured plans, roadmaps, and deliverables, building in delivery capacity and sequencing across the team. Ensure transparent execution tracking and drive accountability.
- Marketing Squads: Sit at the centre of all cross‑functional Marketing squads as the orchestrator. Ensure clear objectives, timelines, accountability and effective collaboration while managing risks, dependencies and delivery blockers, escalating to the Marketing Leadership Team as appropriate.
- Operational effectiveness: Identify and remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies in delivery processes. Improve how teams collaborate, plan and execute work across functions. Build scalable processes that enhance productivity, coordination and delivery predictability.
- Marketing Enablement: Ensure ways of working are embedded and processes are understood and adopted. Run the Marketing Enablement training program for the team, creating playbooks, templates and frameworks to drive adoption and consistency. Drive change management and establish feedback loops to continuously improve the effectiveness of how Marketing operates. Partner closely with Marketing Operations to ensure alignment between process adoption and supporting tools and systems.
- Leadership and culture: Help foster a culture of accountability, clarity, and delivery discipline. Build trust by creating predictability and transparency in execution and support the leadership team with better decision‑making through structured planning and insight. Act as the connective tissue across Marketing, bringing cohesion to delivery.
