As part of Wood Mackenzie’s value‑creation plan, we need a Senior Manager to optimize marketing ways of working, enable teams, and ensure program delivery clarity and discipline.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve the Marketing operating model and ways of working to support scale, speed and execution discipline, establishing frameworks for how work gets done.
  • Translate strategic priorities and projects into clear, structured plans, roadmaps, and deliverables, building in delivery capacity and sequencing across the team.
  • Act as the orchestrator of cross‑functional Marketing squads, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, accountability and effective collaboration while managing risks, dependencies and delivery blockers.
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies in delivery processes, improving collaboration, planning and execution across functions.
  • Embed ways of working, run the Marketing Enablement training program, create playbooks, templates and frameworks, drive change management, and establish feedback loops to improve effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, clarity, and delivery discipline, building trust by creating predictability and transparency in execution, supporting leadership with better decision‑making.

About You

  • Proven experience in Marketing and project management, working in large, complex matrix organisations.
  • Able to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous environments, balance strategic alignment with rigorous execution tracking, and lead through influence and coordination.

You Will Have

  • Extensive, varied experience in professional Marketing roles.
  • A growth mindset and solid strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional project management skills (Scrum, Agile, Lean or Six Sigma qualifications a benefit but not required).
  • Strong experience in business operations.
  • Proven ability to build and run operating models, governance and delivery frameworks.
  • Strong communication, presentation, story‑telling and writing skills.
  • Understanding of the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market process.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of Marketing & Sales alignment and interlocks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and engage peers.
  • Highly structured, pragmatic, delivery‑focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and influence at senior levels.
  • Experience of working autonomously within a matrix organisation.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Working Expectations

  • Hybrid working company; expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week.
  • Full‑time role; flexible working arrangements considered.
  • Degree of flexible working to accommodate different time zones due to global nature of the team.
