Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you will deliver strategic and commercial consulting projects across the energy, metals & mining, and natural resources sectors.
Contributing to project workstreams, you will combine Wood Mackenzie’s industry-leading data, market intelligence, and analytical tools with your commercial insight to develop actionable recommendations for clients.
Working closely with project leaders, clients, and subject matter experts, you will apply comprehensive analysis, innovative thinking, and industry expertise to solve complex business challenges.
You will also support effective project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong stakeholder engagement, and adherence to project timelines.
This role can be based in London or Edinburgh and may require occasional travel to support client engagements.

About You
- Knowledge and Experience
- Experience (2 - 5 years) in consulting, strategy, commercial analysis, market intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Knowledge of Metals & Mining, or broader natural resources sectors, with an understanding of industry dynamics, value chains, and the implications of the energy transition.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, including data analysis, modelling, market assessment, and strategic evaluation. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word
- Commercially minded, intellectually curious, and passionate about solving complex client challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and influence stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
