We’re looking for a talented Digital Graphic Designer to join our Brand & Creative team at an important moment of change. With a new visual identity launching across the business, this role will play a key part in helping bring the brand to life across digital, campaign, event and thought-leadership work. This is a hands-on role within a small, busy creative team. You’ll be designing across a wide range of touchpoints, collaborating closely with Brand, Marketing, Events and Product Marketing colleagues, and helping ensure our work is consistent, confident and high quality as the brand evolves.
We’re particularly interested in designers who consider digital design a core strength - confident working across modern tools, comfortable thinking in systems, and actively developing motion and interactive skills. You should enjoy translating brand frameworks into practical, scalable outputs that work in the real world.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing high-quality creative assets across digital, print and event touchpoints, aligned to Wood Mackenzie’s new visual identity
- Supporting the rollout and day-to-day application of the new VI across campaigns, events and thought-leadership content
- Creating clear, engaging design solutions that help simplify complex information and data
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand briefs, ask the right questions, and shape effective creative responses
- Contributing to digital and interactive outputs, including web-based content, presentations and motion-led assets
- Supporting our global Events team with end-to-end creative assets for in-person and virtual events
- Managing work through Asana, contributing to clear communication, realistic timelines and smooth handovers
- Collaborating with the wider Creative team, sharing ideas, feedback and best practice
What we’re looking for
- Solid experience in a graphic or digital design role, ideally within a brand, in-house or agency environment
- Strong design fundamentals with a good eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling
- Confidence working across digital channels and understanding how design systems scale
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma as part of your day-to-day workflow
- Experience in motion design, or a clear and active interest in developing motion skills (After Effects experience is a strong advantage)
- Awareness of modern web and interactive tools such as Framer or Webflow, or a strong desire to learn
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- A collaborative mindset - someone who enjoys working with others and contributing to a shared outcome
- A desire to grow - taking on more responsibility over time and contributing beyond individual design tasks as part of a small, evolving team
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Experience supporting brand rollouts or working with evolving visual identities
- Motion, animation or interactive storytelling experience
- Familiarity with data visualisation or information design
- Experience working alongside marketing, events or product teams
What matters to us
We’re a small team, so how you work matters as much as what you produce. We value people who are thoughtful and pragmatic, open to feedback and learning, comfortable with change, supportive of teammates, and energised by how design, technology and new tools can improve how work is created, delivered and experienced. You don’t need to tick every box - good judgement, curiosity and a genuine desire to grow as part of a close-knit creative team matter just as much. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
