Wood Lawn & Landscaping, LLC is looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to help maintain irrigation systems and keep our shop, vehicles, tools, and equipment ready for work.

This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and taking ownership of their work. You'll play an important role in delivering quality service to our clients while helping our crews work safely and efficiently.

Experience is a plus, but we're also interested in mechanically inclined candidates who are motivated to learn and grow.

What You'll Do

Irrigation Service & Repairs

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Service irrigation controllers, valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, and irrigation lines.
• Perform seasonal system start-ups, inspections, adjustments, and winterizations.
• Identify system problems and recommend practical repairs and improvements.
• Help improve irrigation efficiency and reduce water waste.
• Communicate professionally with clients about service findings and recommendations.
• Document completed work, materials used, and any additional repairs needed.

Shop, Vehicle & Equipment Management

• Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment maintained, organized, and ready for daily use.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Track equipment condition, maintenance needs, and repair requirements.
• Help maintain inventory of tools, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs and follow up to ensure equipment is returned to service promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop.
• Help ensure crews have the equipment and supplies they need to complete their work efficiently.

• Backflow prevention testing or certification.
