Wood is recruiting a Pipe Welder, local to Teesside, for Sembcorp, Wilton. As a Pipe Welder, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our energy infrastructure.

Location: UK Teesside (Site‑based with call‑outs)

Contract Type: Initial 6 Months

Industry: Industrial / Energy / Maintenance

Hours: 38 Hrs P/W with possibility of overtime, call‑outs, breakdown response, and outage support

About the Role: Wood is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder to join our maintenance team, supporting ongoing plant operations, emergency breakdowns, and planned outages. This is a hands‑on role requiring flexibility, technical skill, and the ability to work safely in challenging environments including confined spaces and working at heights.

You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality welds across carbon and stainless‑steel systems using TIG and MMA.
