Wood is currently recruiting for a Timekeeper to be based on site in Lowestoft, Suffolk, on a permanent basis.
Please note that this is a part time role - 3 days (22.5 hours) per week.
Within the team, a hybrid working arrangement can be agreed. During the initial stages of employment, the role will be weighted towards office-based working to ensure the successful candidate is fully supported, receives comprehensive training, and has the opportunity to become an integral part of the team.

We have several clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full scale commercial facilities.

Responsibilities
- Check and enter Timewriting data from Shell IQN system into the Wood Timewriting Team.
- Be a “gatekeeper” for the Field glass Timewriting against the agreed Timewriting Guidelines.
- Check back from the Wood Oracle system for any unapproved or rejected hours before processing of the peoples pay.
- Reconciliation of Timewriting data in both Wood and Shell IQN systems
- Process Wood Team’s holiday for correct approvals and holiday cover if required is put in place.
- Liaise with Wood Tax team and workforce to ensure that NL tax requirements are timely met and captured for all Wood cross-border work scopes.
- Be a “super user” for Wood’s Performance Management Tool and coordinate with the Supervisors that regular Performance Reviews are being completed by them.
- Perform General /Contract Administration duties.
- Assist workforce in any general queries and administration to support timely resolution.
- Booking of all domestic and International Travel for peoples training requirements.
- Trend Safety Observation Card’s from the Shell system for Operations awareness.
- Administer any Uplifting of people’s temporary assignments to meet Operational requirements.
- Provide specific Timewriting reports to the individual Assets.
- Assist in the reporting and close-out of HSSE incidents, with information being passed from the Shell Sphere System into Wood’s CAIRS system

Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Strong project/admin experience in the Engineering and Construction industry desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs to include Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to correspond and interact with others in a courteous and professional manner
- Possess good organisational skills
- Self-motivated to learn
