Overview
In this role you will support the delivery of cybersecurity services, controls and operational activities across a complex, global organization. You will work remotely, with occasional travel to UK offices as needed. You will combine hands-on analysis with service coordination, project delivery and stakeholder engagement. This position offers scope to influence incident response, risk mitigation and continuous service improvements within Wood’s cybersecurity programs.

Responsibilities
- Support assigned cybersecurity services, controls and recurring operational activities
- Monitor and progress incidents, investigations, tickets, security reviews and stakeholder requests
- Analyze cybersecurity issues and document findings, risks and recommended actions
- Ensure work is completed within timescales with appropriate evidence
- Identify control gaps, service issues and recurring problems; escalate as needed
- Coordinate significant cybersecurity incidents and investigations
- Own defined project actions, deliverables and smaller work packages
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions and actions
- Coordinate delivery with technical teams, suppliers and business stakeholders
- Provide updates for dashboards, governance reviews and management reporting
- Support risk, remediation, audit and assurance activities
- Maintain procedures, records and knowledge materials
- Help transition completed projects into sustainable services
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to service improvements
- Lead defined activities, chair meetings or provide updates when delegated
- Support colleagues through knowledge sharing and practical guidance
Key requirements
- Relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, IT operations or related discipline
- Practical understanding of cybersecurity principles, risks and controls
- Experience supporting operational services, technical activities, projects or investigations
- Ability to analyze information and reach evidence-based conclusions
- Ability to communicate technical matters in clear, business-appropriate language
- Strong written communication, organization and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within agreed timescales
- A collaborative approach to working with technical teams, stakeholders and external partners
- Willingness to take ownership, accept feedback and develop new capabilities
