Wood is currently recruiting for an IAP Scheduler to support our client’s Operations and Maintenance team on a permanent staff basis. This role is hybrid working - 3 days working from our client (Adura) office in Aberdeen & 2 days working from home. Previous SAP & Primavera experience is required for this role.

The Role

  • You will manage the planning process for the T0 to T17 window and will work with the very short term IAPS to the T6 gate to ensure readiness and handover of a quality plan for transition into the VST integrated Schedule.
  • You will have responsibility to manage the integrated plans, manage the activities through the planning meetings, prioritise the IAPS relevant activities, police the planning gates, manage the risk management process at the planning level, and feed-back lessons to the IAPS process.

Safety: Ensure all maintenance of Safety Critical Equipment is scheduled in timely manner

Cost – Optimum capacity utilisation – POB, Manpower utilisation

Delivery – ST Plan Stability, IAPS Activity Delivery, ST Activity Readiness

Quality – Data Quality measurement, IAPS meeting effectiveness

Continuous Improvement – Action on schedule feedback to improve future plans / schedules

  • Technical professional with operational experience of E&P business
  • Operational experience of short term scheduling of at least maintenance resource but preferably, all functions that create executable work activities
  • Experience of planning discipline practices (estimating, uncertainty etc.)
  • Experience/accreditation in Primavera
  • Awareness of a CMMS - SAP experience required
  • Experience of management and meetings
  • Familiarity with the target environment (operational, cultural and geographical)
  • Experienced team player capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple competing priorities
  • Effective organisation skills, time management and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Must have proficiency in standing software packages including MS Work, Excel, CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
  • Must be willing to build expertise in CMMS and scheduling tools
  • Must be proficient in scheduling and maintenance planning fundamentals
  • Ability to develop and foster positive working relationships with Maintenance team members, asset leadership, and all asset-based personnel is a necessity
