Overview

In this role you will own the Group consolidation platform, ensuring data integrity and one version of the truth.

You will lead a small systems team and act as the Treasury/Finance data steward, coordinating with IT and business units to support Group reporting.

You’ll drive system governance, master data, security, and validation controls, while collaborating with implementation partners to optimise performance.

This is a hands-on, impact-focused position with exposure to end-to-end One Stream delivery and business as usual.

Responsibilities

  • Own metadata, master data structures, integrations, consolidation logic, and security model for the consolidation system
  • Ensure data integrity and a right-first-time data flow into Group reporting
  • Lead a small systems team and liaise with external partners on One Stream build, go-live and BAU
  • Maintain governance and control environment including validation, reporting structures, and security
  • Coordinate system testing, release management, and upgrades with stakeholders
  • Own core report inventory (cube views) and ensure standardised delivery to provide one version of the truth
  • Drive data integration efficiency and accurate mapping from source systems
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, contingency plans, and business continuity for the consolidation platform
  • Balance business and system requirements with a user-focused mindset and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Support continuous improvement and upskilling of team members and users
  • Key requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • One Stream administration experience
  • Experience in a plc or large, complex organisation with multiple entities and reporting structures
  • Experience designing or architecting data models and global master data
  • Experience leading a workstream or small team
  • Experience applying technical accounting and reporting requirements within financial consolidation and reporting systems
  • Strong Excel and modelling skills
