Wood is recruiting an ERP Project Coordinator to join our global Oracle ERP implementation team. Working alongside Project and Delivery Managers, you’ll play a key role in coordinating complex, multi‑region ERP implementations—supporting the delivery of standardised processes, improving operational performance, and helping drive a more connected global business.

This is a UK-based remote role, and we welcome applications from candidates across the UK.

The Role

You'll work closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and Global Process Owners to ensure projects are well-coordinated, governed, and delivered successfully. You’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of key delivery activities and step into broader responsibilities as you grow in the role.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to setting up the initial implementation plan - detailing resource requirements, risks, scope and budget required to deliver
  • Working with Delivery Manager and Stream leads to determine required timeframes for phasing of the project
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of the key implementation phases of Discovery, Testing, Cutover and Hypercare
  • Preparation of project organisation charts
  • Accountable for the planning and facilitation of Oracle Discovery sessions
  • Key contributor to producing structured outputs to support the Discovery White Paper and RTM gap analysis
  • Manages integrated project schedules and cutover planning, driving MS Project Plan
  • Responsible for all testing readiness activities across each test phase, ensuring full compliance with governance and audit requirements
  • Accountable for the administration of QAComplete, ensuring effective management of testing processes and RAID tracking
  • Manages the stage gate process, including the setup, chairing gate meetings, facilitation, and follow-up of actions
  • Create the weekly status slides to report on project progress to Steering and Leadership team
  • Able to deputise for the Project / Delivery Manager as required
  • Chairing daily team calls and ensuring regular reviews and reports on project progress to senior management, sponsors, and internal stakeholders. Ensuring to flag any early signs of schedule or budget slippage in order to agree corrective actions

Expected:

  • Degree qualified, or relevant industry experience in similar project delivery role
  • Previous experience in a similar ERP implementation delivery role
  • Knowledge and experience of stakeholder and requirements management
  • Knowledge and experience of standard project delivery methodology, with experience in AIM preferable
  • Detailed knowledge of different project phasing, entry / exit criteria and governance requirements
  • Awareness of project delivery processes and tools
  • Able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams on regional and global levels
  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility over broad objectives, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Basic knowledge and able to articulate business benefits of systems and business processes
  • Knowledge of IT system delivery and change management processes aligned with a strong understanding of business operations and strategy

Desirable:

  • Qualified or working towards a recognised Project Manager qualification
