HigherLevel Teaching Assistant
Grade 8 -Term time + 5 INSET Days (39 Weeks)
We are seeking to appoint a compassionate and skilled HigherLevel Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our Inclusion Team, working within our dedicated SEMHinternal provision (Connect).
Connect provides a bespoke learning package for some Key Stage 4students with SEMH needs who are unable to access learning in a fullymainstream environment and who would benefit from an adapted curriculum.
Students are supported to achieve their full potentialacademically and emotionally, including reintegrating to mainstream lessons asappropriate, with staff working with other agencies to offer comprehensivesupport.
The role of the HLTA is to work collaboratively with the ConnectLead Teacher to support students to access the curriculum and achieve theirfull potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will work closelywith teachers, families, and the wider pastoral team, offering support,guidance, and professional insight to help ensure positive outcomes for everystudent.

Pay scale: Grade 8 Actual salary: Β£13,979 - Β£15,263
Hours: Term time only + 5 INSET days (39 weeks), 18.25 hoursper week 8.15am-2.50pm, 3 days per week (Thursday and two other days)
