We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Manager to lead our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team. This is a pivotal role during an exciting period of transformation. You will oversee our manufacturing operations specifically within the paint and preservative sector while helping to deliver a world class service for our B2B and B2C portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the supply chain.
- Operational Excellence: Lead the warehouse and distribution teams to ensure high-quality delivery with minimal disruption.
- Manufacturing Oversight: Provide thought leadership for both in-house and outsourced manufacturing challenges, focusing on process engineering and capacity expansion.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor staffing requirements, and deliver monthly KPI reports to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement lean processes and root-cause analysis to drive operational success.
- Risk & Compliance: Maintain a gold-standard health and safety environment, ensuring all equipment, training, and business continuity plans meet legal regulations.
- People Development: Lead, mentor, and engage a high-performing team. Foster a culture of excellence, high productivity, and employee well-being.
What We Are Looking For
- Industry Experience: Proven background in manufacturing and growing e-commerce environments.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Understanding of 3PL models, distribution partnerships, and supplier engagement.
- Leadership Skills: A confident communicator who can inspire teams, manage change, and drive employee engagement.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of Health & Safety regulations, budgeting, and IT systems (SharePoint, Teams, Word).
