Rad Tech II is responsible for patient positioning, operating radiographic equipment, ensuring radiologic safety, and developing high-quality images. Radiographer is an onsite position.
Essential Functions
- Properly positions and transfers patients, ensuring safety and comfort while applying immobilization devices when required.
- Selects and operates radiographic equipment and technical factors based on individual patient needs, performing both routine and special procedures as directed.
- Follows prescribed safety standards to protect patients and staff, including proper radiation protection and adherence to safety protocols during radiographic procedures.
- Develops high-quality radiographs (films) through automatic or manual processes, ensuring technical quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Works effectively with other personnel, providing instruction to students and ancillary staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills to perform effectively in a second area of expertise, i.e. CT scanning, special procedures or quality control.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.

- License: Current Ohio Radiology Licensure

- Certification: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, BLS within 7 days of hire
