As a Senior Care Assistant, you will care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. This includes assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals. You will also be responsible for the medication round and leading the shift.
We welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. We provide full training and also encourage applications from those without previous senior experience but who have a passion for care and a valid qualification.
About You:

- Level 3 in Health & Social Care or care certificate is desirable but not essential as all training is provided.
- Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of leading a team.
- A committed and organised approach.

Other Duties:
- Attend staff meetings.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home.
- Participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development.
- Understand safeguarding responsibilities and develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults needing care and support.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies at all times.
- Provide evidence of any untaken training.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
- Complete all training as determined by the home.
