You will work in a busy care home ensuring cleaning standards are kept to a high-quality standard. About You

  • Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working in a busy housekeeping environment.
  • A committed and organised approach.
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts.

Other Duties

  • To attend staff meetings.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home and participate in appropriate training.
  • Encourage and support staff in their development and training.
  • Ensure you fully understand your safeguarding responsibility and develop your understanding and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support.
  • Ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control.
  • Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle-blowing policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Provide evidence of any untaken training.
  • Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
  • Complete all training as determined by the home.
