As a Senior Care Assistant, you will care for our residents as if they are your own family, attending to their physical, psychological and social needs. You will assist with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and meals, perform medication rounds, and lead the shift.

About You
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate (desirable, not essential).
- Previous experience working in a care home environment (desirable, not essential).
- Experience of leading a team.
- A committed and organised approach.
- A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts.

Other Duties
- Attend staff meetings.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home and participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
- Ensure staff fully understand their safeguarding responsibility, develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect, and ensure safeguarding and whistleblowing policies are adhered to at all times.
- Provide evidence of any untaken training.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
- Complete all training as determined by the home.
