The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

As a Care Assistant, you will care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. This includes assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.

We welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked as a Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. We provide full training and also welcome applications from those without previous experience but with a passion for care.

Above all, we’re looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people’s lives. You’ll also need:

  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or a care certificate (desirable but not essential as all training is provided)
  • Previous experience working in a Care Home environment (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience of leading a team
  • A committed and organised approach
  • A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts

Other Duties:

  • Attend Staff Meetings
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home
  • Participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training
  • Ensure employees fully understand their safeguarding responsibility
  • Develop understanding and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support
  • Ensure adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control
  • Adhere to safeguarding and whistle-blowing policies at all times
  • Provide evidence of any untaken training
  • Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation
  • Complete all training as determined by the home
