This is a great opportunity to define and own the performance creative strategy of a fast-moving beauty brand, working directly with our Growth team and CEO to build the frameworks, team, and pipelines that turn creative into our biggest growth lever, seen by millions of people.
What You Will Do
- Define and drive performance creative strategy across paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snap, AppLovin/Axon, Google, YouTube), translating business objectives into scalable, revenue-generating campaign frameworks.
- Lead an internal production team with creative strategists, editors, and designers, as well as oversee our creative agency partnerships.
- Maximise creative performance output, elevating the quality, speed, and volume of high-performing creative assets, focused on performance and engagement, ensuring metrics are scaled effectively across campaigns.
- Directly shape the creative and strategic direction of new product launches and existing product relaunches, feeding into our long-term growth strategy.
- Drive the organisation's approach to AI and emerging creative technologies, embedding tools like Claude, Gemini, Sora etc. into production pipelines to future-proof output and accelerate innovation.
- Using data and insights to develop creative iterations and updates that continuously drive compounded improvement.
- Work with our paid channel reps to identify new trends, innovations, and opportunities to incorporate into our strategy.
- Analyse top-performing ads in the beauty and skincare space to inform our creative approach.
- Provide strategic and creative feedback to the wider marketing team.
Requirements
- You have significant experience (5+ years) in paid social, creative strategy or performance marketing, including experience leading or mentoring a team.
- You're a digital native with extensive knowledge in DR / Social / Digital first creative.
- You're a powerhouse who can generate multiple ad concepts quickly and enjoys testing innovative formats.
- You understand the principles of growth/performance marketing for Meta, TikTok and other paid channels, with a strong grasp of platform-specific nuances.
- You have a research-oriented mindset - regularly analysing competitor activity, platform trends, and beauty/skincare category content.
- You're comfortable moving from concept to live creative/ad at speed when required.
- You're an early adopter of AI tools and emerging creative technologies, with a genuine interest in embedding them into workflows.
- You're a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who takes pride in their work.
- You're able to manage competing priorities and workloads across a team.
- You're high energy and results focused.
A portfolio showcasing strategic and creative work, along with examples of team leadership, would be advantageous to provide during application.
