At Wonders of Maths, we’re on a mission to stretch and inspire high-achieving students through excellent teaching and academic challenge. We’re proud to work with ambitious learners who thrive on going beyond the basics and we’re looking for a brilliant in-person Maths tutor to help them do just that.
This is a part-time In-Person Maths Tutor role based in Hammersmith. An experienced and confident Maths tutor who knows a variety of Maths levels (KS2 - A Level Further Maths) inside out. Someone who enjoys diving deep into the subject with motivated, high-attaining students. You must be able to explain complex ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and push students beyond the curriculum where appropriate. You will be responsible for delivering and engaging students whilst taking ownership for their progress. The role includes preparing tailored lesson plans and providing targeted support in mathematics topics.

Key Requirements
- Strong subject knowledge
- Proven experience tutoring or teaching high-achieving students
- Ability to break down advanced concepts with clarity and enthusiasm
- A confident, professional, and engaging teaching style
- Familiar with a variety of exam boards (AQA, CIE, OCR, Edexcel)
- Degree in Maths, Engineering, Physics, Teaching, or a related subject, Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience
- Is familiar with Maths Competitions (IMC, JMC, BMO, SMC)
- Teaching/ Tutoring (2 years+)
