The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the world's largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.

Help shape the future of finance data at Wonderfield. We're looking for a Finance Data Lead to play a key role in our finance transformation journey, leading the data workstream across ERP implementation, automation and reporting initiatives. Working closely with Finance, Technology, Product teams and implementation partners, you'll ensure our finance data is accurate, governed and ready to support better reporting, stronger controls, process standardisation and future AI-driven capabilities.

About You

  • You’ll bring experience leading data workstreams within finance transformation or ERP programmes, along with:
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, reporting and controls
  • Experience with data governance, master data management and data quality improvement
  • Proven track record delivering data migration and readiness activities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the finance data strategy across key transformation programmes
  • Lead data governance, standards and ownership across finance data domains
  • Manage data cleansing, validation, mapping and migration readiness activities
  • Track and report on data quality, completeness and programme readiness
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT and the wider business to resolve data challenges and drive accountability
  • Ensure data supports effective reporting, automation and future analytics capabilities
  • Establish sustainable governance and controls to maintain data quality beyond go-live
