Franchise Training Coach – Northern Ireland Head Office – Wonderfield Group

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance

Contracted Hours: 40 per week

The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks, and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho – AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take – results in annual sales of $2.5b and EBITDA in excess of $140m a year.

Covering Northern Ireland, the Franchise Training Coach will serve as the go‑to expert for all things fresh food, especially sushi. The role involves coaching Franchisees on sushi skills, food safety, and quality management, and supporting them with induction, ongoing training, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular kiosk assessments to identify areas for improvement in food quality and safety.
  • Deliver on‑site coaching and training covering sushi‑making, knife skills, and operational excellence.
  • Support new Franchisees with tailored induction and orientation.
  • Monitor training outcomes and evaluate how interventions translate into improved performance.
  • Provide actionable feedback to the Head of Openings and Franchisee Support.
  • Capture insights from the field and help evolve training materials.
  • Collaborate with other Franchisee Coaches and Operations Team members.
  • Stay up to date with trends and innovations in sushi and Asian‑inspired food.
  • Maintain detailed records of coaching activities, outcomes and progress.
