The Role
Wonder has a story worth telling at scale. This role exists to make sure the world hears it. We're looking for someone who is both a builder and a storyteller. Someone with the creative instincts to know what Wonder should be saying, and the hands-on drive to actually say it. This isn't a role where you hand briefs to a team and review decks. You'll be in the accounts, writing the captions, posting the content, reading the numbers, and doing it again tomorrow with sharper instincts than yesterday. Critically, you'll be the person who makes Wonder look like Wonder. Brand consistency across every platform and touchpoint is important. You'll have the design sensibility and the execution skills to hold the visual identity together yourself, without always needing someone else to make it happen. At the same time, you'll think like a growth strategist. You've built content flywheels before. You understand why things spread. You know how to engineer compounding audience growth and you have the track record to prove it. You'll own Wonder's presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, as well as helping grow our community platform, the home of the most exciting emerging filmmakers and AI-native creators in the world. You'll shape not just what we post but how Wonder shows up in the world. The best person for this role won't see execution and strategy as two different things. They're the same muscle. We want someone that can run an idea from concept to live to iterated, without handing it off.
What You'll Own
- Full ownership of Wonder's social presence across Instagram, Substack, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, strategy, content, cadence and execution
- Defining and owning Wonder's aesthetic and voice across every touchpoint: what we post, how it looks, how it sounds, and why people stop scrolling
- Building and executing a growth strategy with real accountability for follower growth, engagement, and community acquisition
- Growing Wonder's community platform: identifying the right creators, getting them in the room, and making the platform a place worth being part of
- Identifying organic amplification opportunities, collaborations, creators, moments, and platforms and events where Wonder should be showing up at
- Briefing and directing content creation across the team, with a clear point of view on what performs and why
- Using data to make decisions: you'll know your numbers, understand what the metrics are telling you, and have a view on what to do next
- Identifying and executing bold, high-impact distribution plays, the kind that don't need a big budget, just a sharp idea and fast execution
- Staying ahead of platform shifts and cultural moments and moving fast when they matter
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years building and growing social-first brands, with a track record you can point to, accounts you've grown, campaigns that landed, communities you've built and engineering viral content
- You are a doer first: you've been the person in the accounts every day
- Strong design execution skills. You're comfortable in Photoshop and Canva, can jump into Premiere to cut a clip, and can generate and edit imagery using AI tools.
- Experience running a UGC or creator programme end-to-end: creator recruitment, scripting, format design, performance tracking
- Genuinely AI driven in your workflow: you're already using a bunch of AI tools to move faster and produce better work.
- Proficient in social media management and scheduling tools such as Publer, Buffer or Later
- Deep fluency across Instagram, Substack, LinkedIn, YouTube and X: you understand each platform's culture, algorithm and content logic, not just how to post
- A genuine creative eye, you know what good looks like, you have taste, and you can direct others toward it
- Growth strategy experience: you've built content flywheels, identified acquisition loops, and understood the mechanics behind why things spread
- Strong written voice and the ability to adapt tone across formats and channels without losing the thread
- Experience briefing and collaborating with designers, editors or production teams to execute at a high creative standard
- Comfort with analytics: you can build your own dashboards, read what the data is saying, and make a call
