The Role
To take responsibility for the development, delivery, and administration of the Criminal Justice Project, to achieve positive outcomes around health and well-being for vulnerable female offenders. To provide leadership, supervision and support the development of the TAP delivery team, overseeing administration, monitoring and reporting functions of the project.
Person Specification
- Qualified in a relevant field to a minimum of Level 3
- 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Leadership/Management Qualification or Degree in Health & Social Care, Social work/ Criminology
- Have knowledge and understanding of the criminal Justice system and other related systems/services
- Good interpersonal and all-round communication skills
- Evaluation and sound judgement skills
- Excellent written and report writing skills
- Ability to manage caseload
- Excellent IT and Project Management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the co-ordination of services, monitoring and accurate data collection, related to the project
- To work with mainstream services outside of criminal justice such as social services and health, to facilitate women’s access to specialist services and their integration into mainstream services
- To liaise with Probation and other relevant agencies to establish a network of support for offending women
- Establish working relationships with colleagues in relevant agencies to develop and maintain community links and inter-agency work
- Deliver training and development modules/courses to beneficiaries and stakeholders when required
- To lead on the development of Partnerships relating to the development of services for women in the CJS
- Provide up-to-date and accurate project data and reports for quarterly board meetings
