Working safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines, in accordance with training standards including mandatory SHE training.
During your apprenticeship, you will gain many skills and experience working safely in accordance with operational requirements and associated Safe Systems of Work.

Entry requirements?
England and Wales

– Age 18+
5+ GCSEs grade A*-C / 9-4 including English and Maths, as well as a Science subject for engineering or technical roles and a minimum of 96 UCAS points, but subjects and specific requirements may vary depending on the role.
Scotland:
– Age 16+
5 National 5’s at grade C or above + 3 Highers at grade C or above, including English and Maths (excluding Application of Maths) as well as a Science subject for engineering or technical roles. Specific requirements may vary depending on the role. Some roles may also require additional qualifications or UCAS points.

What is the application process?
The stages of our application process include: a short online application. If you’re successful, you\’ll then complete an online assessment with interactive activities, and an on-demand video interview. The next stage is a competency-based interview, either virtual or face-to-face.

Export Control/Security
Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
