Reporting to the Engineering Operations Manager, this is a busy and dynamic role where you will lead the Operations & Maintenance Team, ensuring the smooth execution of all site maintenance activities. As a key leader, you will be responsible for setting direction, coordinating teams, and evaluating maintenance strategies, ensuring optimal performance and compliance across the site. Key Responsibilities- Review and ensure quality standards are met
- Take corrective action to resolve issues
- Understand and follow building operations rules
- Assign tasks for work tickets and PM work orders
- Ensure staff complete PMs and work orders on schedule
- Maintain and organise O&M documents, drawings, and manuals
- Update and manage SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs
- Coordinate contractor/vendor work for safety and efficiency
- Resolve operational and maintenance issues to minimise costs
- Assist in obtaining and evaluating vendor quotes for projects
- Ensure compliance with company, government, and client policies
- Develop strong relationships with key customer personnel
- Ensure engineering practices meet legal and contractual obligations
- Manage and coordinate engineering shift teams for coverage
- Experience in Technical Services within building services, preferably FM in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Industry, or Healthcare
- Vocational qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and CMMS
- Practical experience in Hard Services contract delivery
- People management, planning, organisation, and customer focus experience
- Experience with High-Risk Activities and Safe Systems of Work training
- Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills
