WC is looking for an experienced Senior Counselling Clinical Lead to support the safe and high quality delivery of our Community Counselling Service across Birmingham and Solihull. This is a senior clinical role for someone who can provide strong clinical leadership, support safeguarding oversight, guide counsellors and student placements, and help maintain safe, ethical and professional counselling practice.
The role will include:
- Clinical supervision and case consultation
- Safeguarding oversight and risk management
- Clinical audits and quality assurance
- Reflective practice and practitioner support
- Outcome monitoring and service reporting
- Supporting service development and clinical governance
We are looking for someone with:
- BACP or UKCP registration/accreditation
- A recognised clinical supervision qualification
- Minimum 3 years post qualification clinical experience
- Experience providing clinical supervision
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk and trauma informed practice
- Experience working in community, VCSE or NHS commissioned settings would be helpful
Location: Birmingham and Solihull, hybrid/community based
Contract: Fixed term, 2 years, subject to funding
Salary: Competitive, in line with the VCSE sector
DBS: Enhanced DBS required
