We are looking for someone to be a part of a growing Christian led organisation making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable women, those who have experienced domestic abuse, involved in prostitution or at risk of sexual exploitation. What difference will you make? As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in creating lasting change. Your time, skills and passion will directly support our growth and future direction, while helping shine a light on the realities faced by vulnerable women experiencing exploitation and domestic abuse. Through your contribution, you will help us build recognition, strengthen our impact and reach more women who need support, as well as increasing awareness to supporters of the different causes and issues we help to make a lasting difference.

What are we looking for? The ideal candidate would preferably be of the Christian faith and will sit on the Fundraising, Communications and Marketing group. They should have experience in working well as part of a team, be committed, flexible with excellent communication skills, able to meet deadlines and assigned tasks successfully. A positive outlook and relational skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn. Integrity, professionalism, sensitivity and respect for our charity's mission are also important.

The ideal candidate will also be required to have skills in developing and implementing strategies to raise funds, organise fundraising events, handle promotional activities, social media, public relations and outreach campaigns to raise the charity's profile and attract support.

What will you be doing? This role involves being part of a group helping to support the mission and activities of our organisation. Your responsibilities include decision making, participation in group activities, discussions, following assigned tasks and meeting deadlines within various competencies.

  • Fundraising – Develops and implements strategies to raise funds, organises fundraising events, seeks grants, and engages with donors.
  • Marketing – Handles promotional activities, social media, public relations, and outreach campaigns to raise the charity's profile and attract support.
  • Communications – Coordinates internal and external communications to keep all stakeholders informed of charity related news and events.
