Job Title: Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyst

Location: Glascoed, South Wales

Salary: £53,928

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and adapting existing databases of models and simulations to support present and future requirements
  • Generating new models using commercial software to meet evolving client and business needs
  • Engaging in technical discussions and advisory sessions with colleagues and client representatives
  • Managing and conducting research tasks in collaboration with clients and the business to develop new capabilities
  • Collaborating with the team to expand and strengthen capabilities across Land UK to support future business growth

Essential

Your skills and experiences:

  • Holding a BSc or HND in Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field
  • Demonstrating significant experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office for technical report writing and presenting results
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment

Desirable

  • Experience using Star CCM+ or similar CFD software
  • Knowledge and practical use of various solvers and physics models
  • Proficiency in a programming language, such as Java, Python, Fortran, or VBA
