Job Title: Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyst
Location: Glascoed, South Wales
Salary: £53,928
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining and adapting existing databases of models and simulations to support present and future requirements
- Generating new models using commercial software to meet evolving client and business needs
- Engaging in technical discussions and advisory sessions with colleagues and client representatives
- Managing and conducting research tasks in collaboration with clients and the business to develop new capabilities
- Collaborating with the team to expand and strengthen capabilities across Land UK to support future business growth
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Holding a BSc or HND in Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM field
- Demonstrating significant experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office for technical report writing and presenting results
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
Desirable
- Experience using Star CCM+ or similar CFD software
- Knowledge and practical use of various solvers and physics models
- Proficiency in a programming language, such as Java, Python, Fortran, or VBA
