What You'll Be Doing

  • Engaged in security assurance activities within BAE Systems and the Supply Chain, including business risk analysis, audit and assurance.
  • Liaising with customers and partners across the business and travelling to supplier sites within the UK and occasionally overseas.
  • Facilitating Specialist Working Groups to develop and improve information security policies and practices for BAE and its supply chain.
  • Consulting with major programmes and IT projects to ensure compliance with information security policies.
  • Monitoring information security controls in the supply chain against government policy and contractual obligations.
  • Investigating contraventions of information security policies and providing recommendations for resolution and preventive actions.
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate Information Security and Security processes.

Essential Skills and Experiences

  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable across different circumstances and levels of the enterprise.
  • Experience and knowledge of auditing, assessments and report writing.

Desirable

  • Cybersecurity experience.
  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification.
