What You'll Be Doing
- Engaged in security assurance activities within BAE Systems and the Supply Chain, including business risk analysis, audit and assurance.
- Liaising with customers and partners across the business and travelling to supplier sites within the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Facilitating Specialist Working Groups to develop and improve information security policies and practices for BAE and its supply chain.
- Consulting with major programmes and IT projects to ensure compliance with information security policies.
- Monitoring information security controls in the supply chain against government policy and contractual obligations.
- Investigating contraventions of information security policies and providing recommendations for resolution and preventive actions.
- Developing and maintaining appropriate Information Security and Security processes.
Essential Skills and Experiences
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable across different circumstances and levels of the enterprise.
- Experience and knowledge of auditing, assessments and report writing.
Desirable
- Cybersecurity experience.
- ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification.
