Key Responsibilities- Ensure that team targets are achieved.
- Develop SMART KPIs to drive performance in the team.
- Identify new opportunities and targeted dial-out campaigns with the team.
- Be responsible for the outbound team results.
- Develop account-based campaign strategies.
- Develop strategies with the Senior Sales Manager to ensure consistent on-target performance of the team.
- Listen to calls (side by side, remote, and live) to strengthen training and performance.
- Liaise with the Senior Sales Manager on coaching goals and reporting impact on team results.
- Design and implement individual coaching plans that deliver results and a culture of action.
- Hold regular 1-2-1 meetings and set objectives and tactics to achieve targets.
- Assist the Senior Sales Manager with training events and team training sessions to improve BDC knowledge and performance.
- Assist with key performance reporting and analyzing business trends.
- Utilise CRM dashboards and monitoring techniques to drive performance and support the Sales Manager.
- Manage team performance and liaise with the Senior Sales Manager on handling good and bad performance through appropriate procedures.
- Assist in running the department day-to-day in the manager’s absence.
- Tenacious and relentless in pursuing new prospects with a demonstrable track record in cold calling.
- Experience managing a B2B appointment-setting team.
- Strong knowledge of the sector and competitors.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an outbound business development role.
- Good understanding of qualifying leads through fact finding.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing software including CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Sugar) and MS Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and how to use them to optimise individual performance.
- A passion for driving performance and accountability in teams.
- Proven experience setting goals and helping teams achieve targets.
- Experience working in an outbound sales setting.
- High levels of integrity, honesty and doing the right thing.
