Portfolio Assurance Advisor in London

London Full-Time No working from home possible
Women in Public Life Guernsey

You could provide independent insight and constructive challenge to the board responsible for Guernsey's Major Projects Portfolio.

The Policy and Resources Committee is looking for a Portfolio Assurance Advisor.

The vacancy was published earlier this year, however, following the publication of the MyGov investigation report and States approval of the Major Projects Portfolio, P&R is conscious that there may be additional interest in this position.

This is a voluntary role with a time commitment of up to 2 days a month.

The role of the Board is to ensure major projects are realistic, properly prioritised, well supported and delivered effectively. Each project within the portfolio continues to retain its own management and oversight arrangements.

The key skills and experience needed are:

Senior-level experience, either in an executive or non-executive role, who has led organisational change or major improvement initiatives.

Strong experience in assurance, governance and oversight. Applications are welcome from any sector.

Sound judgement, strong analytical skills and the confidence to challenge constructively.

A collaborative approach that supports improvement.

Ability to demonstrate integrity, strong decision-making ability and the confidence to operate credibly at board level.

To apply, send a CV and a short statement outlining your relevant experience and what you would bring to the role to policyandresources@gov.gg.
