The Club’s kit operation covers the kit and laundry functions across the AXA Training Centre and Academy. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of kit operation across the men’s football function for players and colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the Football Operations Department.

Role modelling delivery of a proactive and professional Kit Department which is aligned to the Club’s values, objectives and quality standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the provision of the U21 team and provide support when required to the First Team kit operations, ensuring all players and colleagues are suitably provided with sufficient product for all football related activity and compliant with competition regulations.
  • Provide support to the wider Academy kit operation when required.
  • Working knowledge of the kit ordering process across the men’s football function in a financially and practically efficient manner.
  • Collaboration with other football departments regarding transportation of equipment/kit to assist with achieving the most efficient football operation at U21 games and others as required.
  • Maintain elite standards of work, keeping work/storage areas (changing room, boot room, kit rooms laundry room) clean, tidy, and organised.
  • Provide cover and operational support across the wider kit function during periods of absence or increased operational demand.
  • To comply with all Club regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety etc.
  • Any other necessary duties to ensure the kit department operates at the highest standard.
  • Undertake travel with the U21 squad to home and away fixtures, and other football-related activities as required, providing on-site kit and equipment support to ensure the team is fully prepared and operational needs are met.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working within a sporting environment responsible for inventory, stock control, or equipment management.
  • Exposure to a sporting or football environment is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow structured processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and pride in presentation standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel for home and away fixtures.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take feedback positively.
