Senior Data Quality Analyst – Women in Data
The Data Enablement Services Department comprises key teams, including Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, Customer Master (MDM), and Records Management. Situated within the Data & Analytics community, it is responsible for embedding good data management across the organisation. The Data Quality team ensures the right information is available to the right people at the right time by monitoring and improving data quality across the business, proactively monitoring key data sources, managing data quality issues, developing data quality rules, creating and managing business and data definitions, and providing assurance over reports to regulators. The team applies data and analytics techniques to interrogate large datasets and systems across the EUI data landscape to support root cause analysis and targeted remediation.
Responsibilities
- Apply data analytics techniques to interrogate large datasets and systems across the EUI data landscape.
- Carry out robust root cause analysis using insights from data interrogation to drive targeted remediation of data quality issues.
- Design and implement technical data quality and process solutions.
- Develop data quality reporting and KPI dashboards, providing insights into the health of Admiral data.
- Manage Data Quality team operations, Data Quality services and solutions, and Data Management processes (Business As Usual).
- Oversee Data Quality discovery, profiling and exceptions; document Data Quality issues.
- Design, own and maintain the Data Quality Issues Log and Data Quality Remediation Framework.
- Develop Data Quality dashboards and reports for various stakeholders; oversee remediation activities.
- Support Root Cause Analysis and maintain a repository of business validation rules.
- Agree and define roles for day-to-day Data Quality operations.
- Understand the complex regulatory environment and implement robust regulatory controls.
- Support the delivery of services to mitigate Data Quality Risk.

- Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Management best practices.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent motivational skills and pragmatic, practical approach with ability to tailor methods to audiences.
- Excellent communication, especially in conveying information to diverse audiences in an actionable way.
- Creative thinking to drive adoption of new data quality approaches.
- Commercially aware, proactive, forward-looking, inquisitive and detail-oriented.
- Relationship management and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on own initiative and introduce fresh thinking to the role and wider data community.
- Qualification such as CDMP Associate or above is highly desirable.
