We have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Product Owner specialising in Identity and Access Management, to join our e-Commerce Team, taking ownership of account management, authentication, and user profile areas. This role is central to enhancing our user experience and ensuring secure, personalised interactions across our platforms.

You will own the product roadmap for Identity and Access Management (IAM), delivering robust, secure, and seamless authentication and authorisation across all user journeys. As we evolve our personalisation capabilities through the integration of a Customer Data Platform (CDP), you will work closely with other product owners and teams across the business to ensure IAM foundations are in place to support personalised and secure user experiences. While you won’t own the personalisation strategy itself, your work will be critical to enabling it. You will also shape the My Account area, ensuring it supports personalised journeys, loyalty features, and a user-centric experience.

This is a permanent opportunity, located at our Luton Head office! (Hybrid Working)

What you will be doing:

  • Manage product backlogs, quarterly roadmaps, KPIs and contribute to the broader identity management strategy.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies alongside delivery managers, including 3 amigos sessions, refinement sessions, sprint planning, and retros, while supporting the team in delivering value iteratively and continuously.
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of clearly articulated EPICs and User Stories.
  • Own and evolve the roadmap for account management and authentication, delivering secure, scalable and user-friendly identity experiences.
  • Drive improvements to the My Account area, with a focus on usability, trust, flexibility for personalisation and loyalty features.
  • Champion UX and Accessibility best practices to create inclusive, frictionless experiences for all users.
  • Partner with Digital Security, Legal, Customer Service and Analytics teams to ensure that solutions address real customer problems and strike the right balance between frictionless customer experience and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Use customer insights, data and experimentation to make evidence-based decisions, not assumptions.
  • Participate in quarterly Planning with the wider team.
  • Bring innovation and creative thinking to how we support customers, challenging the status quo with a clear product mindset.
  • Own the full end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery, iteration and success measurement.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Strong Product mindset, build products based on customer needs, not opinions.
  • Experience owning digital identity products and improving self-serve account journeys in B2C.
  • Deep understanding of UX, Accessibility and how to build with inclusion in mind.
  • Expert knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including encryption, threat detection, and account lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Ability to balance seamless customer experience with robust cybersecurity, ensuring user trust and platform resilience.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable with ambiguity and confident using data to validate decisions.
  • Understanding of data privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) and their implications on identity and personalisation.
  • Familiar with SSO, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure session management.
  • 3+ years of proven Product management experience in a B2C e-Commerce environment.
  • Can do attitude, positive, delivery & results orientated team player.
  • Familiar with WCAG 2.2 principles and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ambitious team under pressure.
  • Airline/Travel industry experience desired although not necessary.
  • Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, ContentSquare and Userlytics.
