Join our Data Tribe and help shape the future of Data and Analytics at Admiral. Since its inception, the Data Tribe has grown our Google Cloud data platform to over 1,800 users and delivered data projects worth hundreds of millions of pounds. The Data Tribe is made up of four distinct sub-tribes, each delivering insights across different areas of the business through a variety of data products:
- Motor Pricing – Focuses on developing timely machine learning models for Pricing and Claims, enhancing Admiral’s market-leading pricing structure through internal and external data integrations, and providing visualisation and reporting tools to support pricing decisions.
- Claims, Customer and PaTH – Supports our Customer, Claims, Pet, Travel, and Household functions with data solutions, including visualisation capabilities and structured/unstructured data provisioning. This sub-tribe also supports strategic initiatives such as Generative AI.
- Data Supporting Services – Provides foundational capabilities and support shared across all business areas, ensuring robust infrastructure for data initiatives.
- Data 2 Cloud Programme – Responsible for migrating all data and analytics capabilities from legacy systems to the Google Cloud Platform.

We're looking for a motivated, tech-savvy individual with strong communication skills who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences and champion their product vision across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Lead and wider Product team to define the vision, goals, and roadmap for a squad delivering data products.
- Own and manage the squad’s product backlog, prioritising requirements in line with Admiral’s strategic objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, upcoming priorities, and product demand.
- Define sprint priorities for the squad to ensure maximum value delivery.
- Generate ideas by collaborating with the squad and building a network across the business and externally.
- Act as a positive force within the squad, promoting the product vision and ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Manage scope dependencies within the Tribe in collaboration with the team, Squad Lead, and other Product Owners.
- Provide constructive challenge and continuous feedback to ensure squad outputs meet expectations.
- Identify and manage scope-related risks, issues, and mitigations.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong understanding of data and how it can be used to maximise business value.
- Genuine interest in data and technology, with an awareness of emerging trends and possibilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear deliverables.
- Strong prioritisation skills to ensure the squad focuses on the most impactful work.
- Experience working in or closely with data and/or analytical teams.
- Experience in an Agile environment as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, or in a similar product ownership role.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
- Experience working with data products.
