The Role

You’ll lead complex, AI-enabled data and analytics programmes across the financial services sector, combining strategic leadership with deep expertise in applied AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to help clients deliver measurable outcomes at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Scope, prioritise and shape AI and analytics initiatives across top-tier financial institutions
  • Lead end-to-end delivery, from problem definition through to delivery, balancing business value, technical feasibility and data readiness
  • Own delivery outcomes across AI-enabled initiatives, working hands-on with data scientists, engineers and client stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to data scientists and AI engineers, supporting capability growth across analytics, AI and ML
  • Represent Capco’s Data Practice externally, contributing to AI-focused propositions, partnerships and thought leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading AI-driven data and analytics programmes within consulting or complex enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise across applied AI, machine learning, advanced analytics and their integration into modern data platforms to guide delivery, challenge design decisions and ensure solutions scale in production
  • Demonstrated ability to translate AI and analytics capabilities into clear business value for senior stakeholders
  • Experience designing, governing and scaling AI solutions within regulated Financial Services environments
  • Confidence operating across multiple workstreams while building sustainable AI and analytics capability within teams

Bonus Points For

  • Hands-on experience with AI product development, MLOps, model lifecycle management or AI platform engineering
  • Knowledge of responsible AI, model risk management, AI governance or ethical AI frameworks
  • Experience supporting AI strategy, roadmap definition or AI-enabled operating models
  • Comfortable supporting commercial/strategic discussions internally and with clients
