Purpose of the Role
Women Ahead Enterprise is seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Director to support the organisation’s growing digital presence. As we continue to expand our activities and membership, this role will help strengthen our visibility, promote events and initiatives, and engage with our professional community online. The Social Media Director will work closely with the Digital Marketing Director and the President/Chair to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and to support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Women Ahead’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
- Create and schedule engaging content aligned with Women Ahead’s mission and activities.
- Support the promotion of events, initiatives, and membership opportunities.
- Assist in building online engagement and growing the organisation’s digital audience.
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Director to align campaigns and messaging.
- Provide basic insights on engagement and audience growth where possible.
- Support social media promotion during key events where appropriate.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.
