Working as part of our Tax & Trust Accounting team as a Tax Senior, you\βll take responsibility for the preparation of the WBD Partners\β self-assessment tax returns.
This role falls under our hybrid working policy. Most full-time employees typically spend around 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home β however we operate a flexible approach in practice.

The team
Our Private Wealth team is a collaboration of lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and tax specialists. Their expertise is highly regarded and ensures that our clients\β wealth is protected, now and for future generations. The role
You\βll be responsible for preparing the WBD Partners\β self-assessment tax returns and arranging payments of tax liabilities, working with external and internal contacts on the delivery of that work, under the supervision of managers. You will ensure compliance with all relevant tax law and provide ad hoc advice on personal tax-related queries throughout the year.
You\βll also help supervise and develop our two Tax Apprentices.

What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you\βll need as a minimum:
- 3 years\β previous experience of working within a personal tax environment
- To be proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience of the issues associated with preparing partners self-assessment tax returns
Experience of trusts and Inheritance Tax, and CCHtax software, is desirable but not essential.
