Womble Bond Dickinson is looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join the WBD Advance InHouse team. You will work in a range of sectors, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, providing procurement, IP, data protection, secretarial and technology advice, and advising global clients from an in‑house perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Advise clients on procurement, IP, data protection, company secretarial and technology matters.
  • Collaborate with WBD partners to identify growth opportunities for seconded clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across client businesses.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years post‑qualified experience as a Solicitor in England & Wales, Scotland or another Common law jurisdiction.
  • Experience working within or advising on Energy & Natural Resources, Technology, Financial Services, Insurance, Public, Government and Third Sector, Manufacturing, Transport, Retail and Hospitality.
  • Proven ability to deliver high‑quality commercial work, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
  • At least 6 months of in‑house legal experience as a qualified lawyer in an in‑house team, or on secondment to a private practice law firm.
