Overview

As a Real Estate Lawyer within the Newcastle contingent of our national team, you will play a pivotal role in handling diverse commercial real estate investment and asset management matters, while providing crucial support on larger real estate finance and corporate support transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle diverse commercial real estate investment and asset management matters.
  • Provide support on larger real estate finance and corporate support transactions.
  • Collaborate on real estate investment projects, drafting and reviewing legal documents related to asset management, acquisitions, disposals, and finance transactions.
  • Deliver first‑class client service in a busy, supportive environment.
  • Contribute to business development by assisting with client events, writing website articles, and other marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • Legal qualification with 4+ years post‑admission experience.
  • Experience in real estate finance transactions.
  • Experience working on complex transactions as part of a team.
  • Strong drafting skills, commercial pragmatism, and a team ethos.
  • Knowledge of development work is helpful.
