Reference: 1427We've got an exciting opportunity for a Researcher to join our Knowledge for Growth team.In terms of location, this role can be based in either Newcastle, Bristol, Leeds or Plymouth. We operate a hybrid working policy and most full-time employees typically spend around 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home - however we operate a very flexible approach in practice.The TeamThe Knowledge for Growth team is responsible for using legal knowledge to help grow the firm. It has a firmwide mandate and will support the whole firm.The team constantly horizon scans; monitoring Bills, Law Commission consultations, major case law developments and other relevant sources to ensure are well sighted on legal changes which present opportunities for us to provide thought leadership and proactive solutions to our clients.The roleYou will work closely with the Knowledge for Growth Lawyers to help deliver on the team's objectives.Key responsibilities will include;Extensively horizon scanning (in collaboration with the Knowledge for Growth Lawyers) in order to ensure that we have early visibility on legal changes which present opportunities for us to provide thought leadership and proactive solutions to our clients.Prioritising your time to ensure a focus on building our profile and reputation in our target markets.Identifying opportunities for thought leadership and solutions for clients and discussing these with the Knowledge for Growth Lawyers.Undertaking further research and analysis on particular points of interest identified by the discussions between the Knowledge for Growth Lawyers and the relevant subject matter experts.What are we looking for?To be successful in this role you'll need as a minimum:At least 3 years' experience in a research roleExperience conducting market, sector, competitor and client research within a legal or professional services environmentExperience supporting business development, marketing, strategic planning, client pursuit or tender activities through research and insightExperience presenting research findings and recommendations to stakeholdersWhat makes it great to work here?We continually work hard to create an open culture that sets us apart from other firms.As signatories to the Mindful Business Charter, it's important to us that our people are able to maintain healthy and happy lives, both in and out of work.
