Position Overview
You'll need to be a technically proficient pensions lawyer.
We welcome pension lawyers at every stage of their career, from newly qualified candidates taking their first step into the field to experienced practitioners seeking a new challenge.
Our focus is on finding talented individuals with a genuine interest in pensions work, whatever their level of expertise, and we're open to shaping the role around the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full pensions law service advising trustees, providers, and sponsoring employers of UK pension schemes.
- Handle day‑to‑day benefit queries and member complaints.
- Work on large‑scale restructuring and liability management projects.
- Help develop the reputation and brand of the firm by building and maintaining client relationships.
- Run transactions in their entirety from the outset and contribute to further developing market share.
- If interested in managing people, lead teams and support professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience gained from being trained and working in an established pensions law team.
- Demonstrable experience of drafting essential documentation relating to UK pension schemes.
- Ability to provide guidance and strategic advice on all types of UK pension schemes.
- Location and Travel
The role is based within travelling distance of one of our offices: Leeds, Newcastle or Bristol.
