Overview

As a Researcher in the Knowledge for Growth team, you support firm-wide growth by scoping and synthesizing legal insights. You work closely with Knowledge for Growth Lawyers to surface opportunities for thought leadership and client solutions. Your horizon scanning keeps the firm ahead of regulatory and case-law developments, while you help build the team’s profile in target markets. This role offers a chance to influence strategy and client outcomes within a collaborative, flexible environment.

Responsibilities

  • Extensive horizon scanning with Knowledge for Growth Lawyers to identify early legal changes and opportunities for thought leadership
  • Prioritise time to build the firm's profile and reputation in target markets
  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership and client solutions and discuss with Knowledge for Growth Lawyers
  • Conduct further research and analysis on topics raised by discussions with subject matter experts

Key requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in a research role
  • Experience conducting market, sector, competitor and client research within a legal or professional services environment
  • Experience supporting business development, marketing, strategic planning, client pursuit or tender activities through research and insight
