Overview
In this role you support clients on a broad range of corporate tax issues, drafting and shaping tax-focused transactions and advising on VAT, SDLT, corporation tax and CGT. You collaborate with Partners and specialists across teams to deliver commercial tax solutions, helping clients navigate risk and enable successful outcomes. The role offers development toward a Managing Associate track within a supportive, inclusive culture that values continuous learning.

Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating and supporting transactions from a tax perspective
- Provide expert advice on VAT, SDLT, corporation tax and CGT
- Develop and support employee share schemes from design to delivery and operation
- Translate complex tax concepts into commercial, understandable solutions
- Collaborate with Partners and cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and technical development within the team
Key requirements
- Qualified lawyer in England and Wales
- Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience in corporate tax
- Skilled in providing technical advice on complex areas of law
- Ability to translate complex concepts into commercial solutions
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial solutions
- Strong intellectual capability
