Our Residential team is one of the largest of its kind, supporting clients on a range of residential and mixed‑use developments. We act for PLC, regional and SME house builders, affordable housing providers, land promoters, and PRS investors and developers.

In this growing sector, you will work with a high‑profile team on residential‑led mixed‑use developments and settled stock portfolios. Your work will include preparing conditional contracts and transfers, options, rights of pre‑emption, collaboration and development agreements, with a focus on high‑value residential development and investment projects. You will build and maintain client relationships, contribute to business development, and support the team through client events, articles, and marketing activities.

We want a newly qualified solicitor who has gained residential development experience at a large regional or city firm and is enthusiastic about this area of law. A collaborative attitude, positive working environment, and a passion for delivering exciting residential projects are essential.

To be successful in this role you'll need as a minimum:

  • You must be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Knowledge of the UK living sector, with expertise in house‑building and/or strategic land (build‑to‑rent and affordable housing experience is advantageous but not essential).
  • Experience managing existing client relationships.

Our culture is open, human‑centred, and flexible. We support health and wellbeing, offer flexible working arrangements, and are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We value people beyond suits and provide a positive, collaborative environment for professional growth.

We are committed to inclusive recruitment and will provide interview accommodations for candidates with disabilities.
